After TMZ Sports released the video (Warning: violent content) Monday morning that showed what happened between Rice and his then-fiancee Janay Palmer, the Ravens released the running back and the NFL suspended him indefinitely.
Last year, the New England Patriots allowed fans to trade in Aaron Hernandez jerseys in light of his legal troubles.
The Ravens are not alone in trying to move on from Rice. Some Baltimore restaurants are offering fans deals for trading in their No. 27 jerseys at their establishments.
EA Sports also announced that Rice would be removed from Madden 15.
