Moving Today's Market

It's Kobe time once again at Staples Center, with the second Western Conference semifinal game between the Lakers and Jazz set to tip off at 10:35 PM EST. The Lake Show is on a five-game playoff winning streak, led by the best player in the game today (Kobe). The Utah Boozers are good, but they may be hard-pressed to stay with the jellin' boys from L.A. Right now, the Lakers are the 7-point choice.

Down in Florida, the Orlando Magic will try to panhandle a win out of the suddenly focused and efficient Detroit Pistons, who were stunned in their opening round series by a couple of motivation-free losses to the young Philadelphians. With Dwight Howard, Orlando features one of the best young players in the game. On paper, however, they can't match up with Detroit's quality, depth and playoff experience. Tonight, the homestanding Magic are 4.5-point favorites
