Chrissy Teigen Throws Out 'Pretty Drunk' 1st Pitch at Dodger Stadium

Taking a page out of the David Wells playbook, supermodel Chrissy Teigen claims she threw back some drinks before tossing out the first pitch at Tuesday night’s Dodgers-Angels game.

Like so many other drinking stories, it started with tequila and tall glasses.

Teigen posted an Instagram picture of her father pouring some healthy margaritas Tuesday afternoon.

With the runway properly foamed, Teigen tweeted out a warning to her 491,000 followers:

Thus Teigen set the stage for her pitch, which she hoped to be anything but 50 Cent-ish.

"I want to do well," Teigen said before the game. "I really want to nail this…I know there's a ton of 50s. I know a lot of people don’t care, but I care. ... I want to do a fastball strike."

Fastball strikes are the best kind of strike, but after a long day of tangling with the liquid chupacabra, Teigen opted for a safer approach.

With Don Julio as her co-pilot, Teigen took the mound and delivered a high-looping Eephus pitch that bounced once before the plate.

Victory.

It wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t "50," and that’s all that mattered. Teigen went with the "high" and "slow" pitch, and it paid off in hugs and tackles.

Congratulations, Chrissy. You drank, you pitched and you conquered—and you didn't end up sleeping in shrubbery, which is always a plus.
