My 2010 Draft Wishes Eagles

The Eagles will not need much from the 2010 draft.

They will have the following picks:

1st round pick (probably in the 30's)
2nd round pick
2nd round pick (from the lito sheppard trade. If he plays 85% of the time)
3rd round pick  (from Seattle)
3rd round pick
4th round pick
5th round pick
5th round pick (from New Orleans)                                                                      

1st pick: DE Greg Hardy - Ole Miss

With the first pick we should trade up a few spots to get DE Greg Hardy from Ole Miss.  we have 3 or 4 guys battling to play opposite of Trent Cole.  If noone steps up and has a very good year, we should solidify the left end position for the future.  Hardy is a pass rush demon and can play the run as well.  Jim would love to have him.

2nd Pick(2nd round): CB Patrick Robinson - Florida State

Sheldon Brown is not going to get a new contract so he will probably want to be traded.  Ellis Hobbs is a decent corner but with no real needs the Eagles should go ahead and draft a corner for the future.  Robinson has good size and speed, and Flordia State produces alot of good NFL players.

3rd Pick(2nd round): SS Darrell Stuckey - Kansas

A great SS in college. He earned 1st team all-Big 12 honors in 2008.  He would be a spectacular addition to the Eagles defense. He could take over for mikell in a year or two and grow with Quentin Demps. 

4th Pick(3rd round) Trade for a 2nd round pick in 2011

5th Pick(3rd round) RB Stafon Johnson - USC

With Westbrook getting old Lesean Mccoy is going to be the man in a couple years and he will need a compliment.  Johnson is a big back that would compliment Mccoy very well.

With more than the Team needs they should trade the rest of the picks for picks in the 2011 and 2012 draft instead of wasting them. We should also trade Sheldon and Reggie Brown for another 2nd round pick in 2011.

And in 2011 we should trade our first round pick and our two second rounds pick to trade up and draft our next franchise QB.
