UCLA Players selected in the NFL Draft

• Bruce Davis, 2nd Round, 25th Selection
• Matthew Slater, 5th Round, 18th Selection (Dohn reports that the Pats actually traded up for this pick. Nice.)
• Chris Horton, 7th Round, Compensatory Selection

Free Agent signings: TBA.

Don’t feel bad for Horton. Remember, Former UCLA Bruin Jarrod Page was one of the last players selected in the 2006 NFL Draft…at the SAME exact position. Where is he now? The CFL? Arena League? Some practice squad?

How about the starting Free Safety for the Kansas City Chiefs? Horton is a great player and I think he’ll be in this league for a long time to come.

I’ll keep my eye out on Brandon Breazell, Dennis Keyes, Trey Brown, and Shannon Tevaga, who I’m sure will all sign free agent contracts, if they haven’t already.
