Positives

• Dangerous straight-line speed.
• Always a threat to get behind the defense if the cornerback takes a misstep and there's no help over the top.  
• Give him a running lane, and he becomes a threat to break off significant chunks of yardage.
• Does a great job of tracking the ball over his shoulder.
• Capable of making defensive backs pay for attempting to play press coverage if he's able to avoid contact at the line of scrimmage. 
• Impressive leaping ability to help make up for his lack of height in certain situations. 
• Made significant improvements throughout his career, giving coaches reason to hope he can continue to develop at the next level.
• Extremely productive career, ranking third in Baylor history in catches and receiving yards. 

Negatives

• Routes aren't necessarily poor, but he's very limited in terms of the technique he showed in college. 
• Relied heavily on his pure speed, rarely even attempting double moves or subtle fakes within the stem of his route. 
• Ran a heavy dose of fly routes, comebacks and an occasional post or corner route.
• Faster than he is quick; his straight-line speed is dangerous, but he lacks the quick footwork and movement in tight spaces to be elite in terms of evading tacklers and maneuvering around press coverage. 
• Hands are extremely shaky, and may not have a ton of room to improve due to their small size (8 5/8").
• Even when he's wide open, he frequently bobbles the ball, which will lead to even more drops at the next level, where he will need to secure more contested catches. 
• Vastly undersized, both in terms of height and overall build. 
• Lacks the size to make any impact as a blocker.
• Limited experience on special teams. 
• Missed time with a wrist injury at the end of 2013 season.

Overall

Reese has NFL speed, but that's about all he has going for him at this stage of his career. His route running is extremely limited, and his hands are among the most inconsistent in this year's draft class.

However, anyone with his type of speed is sure to at least get a look, and someone will try to stash him deep on their roster or on a practice squad in hopes of developing him into a more well-rounded weapon. He simply lacks the tools to make an immediate impact, though.
