NFL Network's Rich Eisen has been running the 40-yard dash at the combine in Indianapolis for the past few years, and he was at it again this year.
In his previous eight attempts, Eisen's best time ever was 6.03 seconds, which isn't bad considering he wears his work clothes and is currently 44 years old. But all eyes were on Eisen once again this year to see if he could finally break six seconds.
Here are the shoes that Eisen wore.
After not breaking six seconds for so many years, Eisen finally did it, running the 40-yard dash in 5.98 seconds. The NFL Network made the announcement over Twitter.
You can see a GIF of the run below.
Here's a picture of the official clock time.
During the run, Eisen lost his pocket square, but that didn't stop him from breaking six seconds.
The NFL Network compared the runs of Eisen and Dri Archer, who ran the 40-yard dash in just 4.26 seconds.
Here are several other simulcasts, including Eisen compared to Jadeveon Clowney (4.53 seconds), Johnny Manziel (4.68 seconds) and Louis Nix (5.42 seconds).
Congratulations, Mr. Eisen.
