While Mike Pettine was busy accepting the head coaching position with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, he also had to spend some time teaching his 19-year-old daughter Megan a valuable lesson in the power of social media.

During Mike's interview process with Cleveland, Megan, who grew up in Baltimore, sent out a tweet saying she was excited for her dad, but "it's the Browns."

She later deleted the tweet, along with her account, but the damage had already been done. The tweet went viral and was displayed on ESPN's SportsCenter.

Pettine's daughter certainly felt the results of her tweet, per Pat McManamon of"She was mortified," the new Cleveland Browns coach said. "Called me hysterically crying one day after it happened."

Thanks to Larry Brown of Larry Brown Sports for the tweet and Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports for the find.
