Crazy Fantasy Owner Sends Twitter Death Threats to Giants RB Brandon Jacobs

Kenny DorsetOct 22, 2013

Lots of people are heavily invested in their fantasy football teams, but a few recent tweets from Twitter user @DMMeBoo to New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs shows someone who is taking it too far.

UPDATE: Thursday, October 24, 2:20 p.m. ET

Jacobs elaborated in an interview, ESPN reports.

"Us as football players, we don't owe y'all nothing. It's up to you to manage your team the way you want to manage it. The only owners and general managers I owe anything to is Jerry Reese, the Mara and the Tisch family. Everybody else, I don't concern myself with."

End of update---

That same night, Jacobs responded to another user, @_EricWhite, who tweeted his discontent over not being notified of the Giants tailback not playing against the Minnesota Vikings. Jacobs' response, via Yahoo! Sports:

"

@_EricWhite F**k you and your fantasy team.. This is my real life..

Jacobs was also a Twitter target in 2012 while with the San Francisco 49ers when a fan tweeted, "I hope you die a horrible death," according to CSNBayArea.com.

Thankfully, in this most recent instance, the Twitter account @DMMeBoo looks like it's been deleted.
