There is a time and place to freak out about your horribly injured hand, but it's not on a fishing boat and definitely not when the Seattle Seahawks are playing.
The posted video proves the crew from Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" and Joel McHale, host of E!'s "The Soup," are all quite taken with the Seahawks swift-footed and hard-throwing quarterback Russell Wilson.
In fact, McHale tweeted as much.
That's right, the 41-year-old has no qualms proclaiming Wilson as his favorite QB, but what about the video clip garnering all the laughs from the audience?
It all starts with the crew scrambling for a medical kit because a horrible injury has occurred. The tension mounts as does the ominous background music until the all-important question is asked: "What's the score?"
We then get some emergency advice peppered with football updates. Images of the gnarly looking injury are also shown.
Of course, something that is bleeding like that will have folks running to get help and bandages, but there is one thing that is far more important: football.
I mean, there isn't much you can do while on the phone, so you might as well get an update on the game.
Emotions completely turn when the crew finds out that Seattle is going to win the game. Suddenly, that bloody and gnarled hand is a distant memory.
Good thing for Wilson and the Seahawks or else that injury would have been a serious bummer to the entire crew.
