Arian Foster had some free time during the Pro Bowl so he decided to make a cameo in an upcoming episode of CBS' Hawaii Five-O

You know, no big whoop.

USA Today reports the NFL star, who had 1,424 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the season, is about to be a major help in a murder investigation.

Not to worry, because the sleuthing is of the fake primetime variety.

The report also does well to give some idea of what the episode entitled "Pa'ani" will be about.

It seems the man who is a running back named Arian Foster in real life will be playing a running back named Arian Foster on the show. I know; we expect to see an Emmy soon.

The detectives are investigating a murder of a tech executive who happened to be on the island for the Pro Bowl. Which answers the question of who actually attends the Pro Bowl.

Don't think for a second that this is just a one-star show, because the episode is going to be chockablock filled with A-Listers, as the report states, "In addition to Foster, the episode features Train lead singer Pat Monahan playing a character named Neil Redding."

That's the sound of DVR's worldwide being set to record.

Here is a promo with one of the characters getting the hots for Foster, "he's even hotter without the pads and the helmet." We will leave it to you to decide.

While I wouldn't dream of maneuvering my TV schedule to coincide with a Monahan cameo, I may have to check in with Danno and company while they interrogate Foster.

Let's see how well the man plays himself.

You can see Foster strut his acting stuff on Monday, February 18 on CBS.
