What's a Super Bowl XLVII party without some good snacks to enjoy the festivities with? Nobody wants to have a lame get-together, especially on the biggest day of the sports calendar.

So it’s important you’ve got all your bases covered, especially with the never-ending options available out there.

Before we get started on the tasty treats, at least have some activities like cornhole (bean bag toss), beer pong (for the rambunctious adult types) or horse shoes ready to go in the yard.

Now that you’ve got stuff to keep people busy, it’s time to get in the kitchen and throw some stuff together that everyone will be sure to love.

Like Thanksgiving, don’t spend too much time worrying about calories and diets.

It’s the Super Bowl!

Here are some essentials that you and your crew should be sure to have ready on Super Bowl Sunday.

Doritos are the go-to option here for all of your sporting party needs. The Super Bowl is no different and it’s never a bad thing to go with the classic Nacho Cheesier or Cool Ranch brands.

Make sure to grab a bag or three of tortilla chips to get ready for the dips. Don’t worry, they’re up next. Tostitos Hint of Lime and Scoops! are the best options in that category.

The Dips

Buffalo Chicken dip is an amazingly delicious option. A good recipe that nails this popular dip will have your friends coming back again next year. Check out Frank's Redhot Buffalo Chicken Dip for those of you out there with a spicy side.

A personal favorite of mine is cream cheese and medium salsa. That combo is undoubtedly terrible for your waistline but tastes so, so good going down.

You know you want some.

Chicken Wings

A Super Bowl without chicken wings isn’t a Super Bowl at all. That’s the point we’ve come to in America, and it’s apparent by the huge amount of wings we will put away this weekend.

According to, Americans will eat 1.23 billion chicken wings throughout Super Bowl weekend.

There’s a plethora of options you can choose from, make sure you’ve got multiple options for the wide-ranging tastes of your peers.
