Here's my listing of the top 30 free agents (12-team, standard-scoring leagues) heading into Week 14.

Obviously, free-agent quarterbacks like Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Chad Henne, Jake Locker, Sam Bradford and Nick Foles (the Eagles' starter from this point forward) are the likeliest candidates for most points from Sunday to Sunday.

But I would also place an equal or higher priority on landing possible dynamos at receiver, running back and tight end...ahead of a quarterback who might not draw another fantasy start in December.

Top 30 Free Agents

1. WR Chris Givens, Rams
2. WR T.Y. Hilton, Colts
3. QB Russell Wilson, Seahawks
4. TE Brandon Myers, Raiders
5. RB Knowshon Moreno, Broncos
6. RB Jonathan Dwyer, Steelers
7. RB Montell Owens, Jaguars
8. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills
9. QB Colin Kaepernick, 49ers
10. WR Josh Gordon, Browns
11. RB James Starks, Packers
12. RB Marcel Reece, Raiders
13. WR Donnie Avery, Colts
14. WR Kenny Britt, Titans
15. QB Jake Locker, Titans
16. RB Ronnie Hillman, Broncos
17. QB Chad Henne, Jaguars
18. WR Golden Tate, Seahawks
19. WR Davone Bess, Dolphins
20. WR Jeremy Kerley, Jets
21. WR Mike Thomas, Lions
22. RB Daniel Thomas, Dolphins
23. QB Sam Bradford, Rams
24. TE Dallas Clark, Buccaneers
25. QB Nick Foles, Eagles
26. RB David Wilson, Giants
27. TE Marcedes Lewis, Jaguars
28. RB Joique Bell, Lions
29. WR Donald Jones, Bills
30. RB LaMichael James, 49ers

Quick Hitters

1. Chris Givens has been superb for PPR owners in the last two weeks, racking up 16 catches, 207 yards and one score in that span.

2. Donnie Avery (five catches, 91 yards, two TDs) may have garnered all the publicity from the Colts' exhilarating win over the Lions last week. But let's remember that Hilton was the only Indy receiver to log 100 yards against Detroit.

3. With Ryan Broyles, Nate Burleson (season-ending injuries) and Titus Young (behavioral issues) out of the Lions' loop at receiver, Mike Thomas has an unimpeded shot at seven-plus catches, double-digit targets and 85 yards over the next four weeks—while lining up opposite the incomparable Calvin Johnson.

4. If you believe in Jake Locker (374 total yards, one TD last week) from this point forward, you might as well secure the Locker-Kenny Britt handcuff at the same time. Among the existing free agents, no QB-WR pairing has a higher ceiling.
