Week 13 Fantasy Football: Top 30 Tight Ends in Standard-Scoring Leagues

Jay ClemonsJun 7, 2018

Here are my top 30 tight ends for Week 13 (standard-scoring leagues).

This countdown identifies the weekend's best bets for catches, total yards, touchdowns and targets—a stat that must always factor into lineup strategies with receivers and tight ends.

Week 13: Top 30 Tight Ends

1. Jimmy Graham at Atlanta
2. Tony Gonzalez vs. New Orleans
3. Aaron Hernandez at Miami
4. Jason Witten vs. Philadelphia
5. Greg Olsen at Kansas City
6. Owen Daniels at Tennessee
7. Antonio Gates vs. Cincinnati
8. Brandon Myers vs. Cleveland
9. Dustin Keller vs. Arizona
10. Vernon Davis at St. Louis
11. Jermaine Gresham at San Diego
12. Jermichael Finley vs. Minnesota
13. Dallas Clark at Denver
14. Heath Miller at Baltimore
15. Kyle Rudolph at Green Bay
16. Brandon Pettigrew vs. Indianapolis
17. Benjamin Watson at Oakland
18. Marcedes Lewis at Buffalo
19. Jacob Tamme vs. Tampa Bay
20. Dwayne Allen at Detroit
21. Scott Chandler vs. Jacksonville
22. Garrett Graham at Tennessee
23. Jared Cook vs. Houston
24. Brent Celek at Dallas
25. Martellus Bennett at Washington
26. Joel Dreessen vs. Tampa Bay
27. Logan Paulsen vs. N.Y. Giants
28. Tony Moeaki vs. Carolina
29. Charles Clay vs. New England
30. Zach Miller at Chicago

Quick Hitters

1. It's been two-plus weeks since Tony Gonzalez (11 catches, 122 yards, two TDs) and Jimmy Graham (seven catches, 146 yards, two TDs) staged the greatest single-game duel of tight ends in my lifetime. For their Thursday encore, I would be shocked if either star fell short of 90 yards and one touchdown.

2. Since Week 7, Brandon Myers has developed an interesting pattern of double-digit targets/rock-solid stats one week and then mediocre numbers the next. If that form holds on Sunday, he'll likely yield seven catches, 11 targets, 74 yards and one TD against the Browns.

3. Antonio Gates has struggled mightily against AFC North clubs this decade, averaging two catches and 19 yards over three games. As a stark comparison, Gates averaged 6.5 catches, 101 yards and 0.8 touchdowns against four AFC North foes in 2009.
