Amid a downpour of rain that seemed more like champagne drenching all of San Francisco than mere precipitation, Barry Zito laid a wet one on his beautiful wife, former beauty queen, Amber Seyer.
If you flipped on the TV Monday night and caught the waning moments of the NLCS, you might have thought you were taking in the final minutes of a Hollywood presentation.
The San Francisco Giants were drenched in a downpour of rain, refreshed from the knowledge they would be going to the World Series; on the other side of the field, the St. Louis Cardinals were just trying to get away from the storm.
While there were a multitude of magical moments, there was hardly any better than the romantic time shared between Barry Zito and his lovely wife, Amber Seyer.
Here is one moment spotted by SportsGrid with the southpaw and the former Miss Missouri who he married last December.
I have no clue what the couple is looking at, but they are taking it in like two characters at the end of an epic action-adventure movie.
You can't have a collection of adorable moments without a long kiss to seal the journey that moves to the World Series later in the week.
Thanks to BuzzFeed who also has a collection of other snapshots that will make you sigh with pleasure or roll your eyes. It really depends on your loyalty to the Giants.
The 34-year old Zito is riding high after a Game 5 domination that saw him pitch 7-plus innings, nabbing 6 strikeouts, giving up no runs and getting the win.

Here is the exchange the pticher had with the county clerk.
“I asked if he wanted a confidential one, and he said ‘no,’ ’’ said Joyce Whitney, a senior deputy county clerk. “He said, ‘Just give me a public one — I’m over myself.’ ’’
After a rocky stint with the Giants, Zito is living the charmed life with fans. It's enough to exhaust just about anyone, which may be the look the couple is sharing.
It's the perfect blend of celebration, love and relief.
