Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele Hit with Dating Rumors

Christian Ponder may be more than friends with everyone's favorite ESPN reporter, Samantha Steele. 

Busted Coverage, the sexy swag detectives of the Internets, may have uncovered a budding romance, or merely a fun little friendship. 

There is plenty of smoke here, especially considering this is the same website that broke the conundrum of Bryce Harper's girlfriend, uncovering the BYU soccer player who stole the slugger's heart. 

As for the 24-year-old quarterback of the 4-2 Minnesota Vikings, he was rather chatty about the 26-year-old ESPN personality on Twitter. 

Here is an interesting question posed to the quarterback on Twitter. 

Here is a screen grab from Busted Coverage wherein Ponder states he has a lady in mind. One Twitter follower asks if Samantha Steele knows about it, and Ponder later answers that she does. 

Of course, this could just be one athlete having some fun with fans—in which case, we have certainly been taken for a ride. 

Then again, Ponder does consider Steele to be quite the little princess.

Well, that is just too cute for words. 

Life is certainly working out for Ponder, who is having a blast on and off the field. Regardless of whether he is dating Steele, he is certainly making those in Minnesota fairly happy. 

The team has a winning record, and he has a solid 92.4 quarterback rating and has already passed for 1,434 yards. 

Now, is he boyfriend material? Samantha Steele, we demand a response to that question.
