NFL Power Rankings Week 2: Teams That Flopped Their Way Down Rankings
Putrid performances by several teams have sent them plummeting down the rankings and should have their fans reevaluating their expectations for those teams.
The good news is that there is plenty of time left for these teams to right the ship, but the early returns are most definitely not good.
No. 10: New York Giants

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The defending Super Bowl champs were thoroughly outplayed by the Cowboys in the NFL's season opener as they lost 24-17. The game was not as close as the score suggested either.
The Giants were outgained by almost 200 yards and lost the time of possession battle by over eight minutes.
If this was a team that didn't go 9-7 last year and went on to win the Super Bowl, there would be a bigger cause for concern.
Still, the Giants looked uncharacteristically sloppy. The ball was thudding off of Victor Cruz like he was busy daydreaming about which talk show he would grace next with his salsa.
If New York wants to entertain any hope of defending their title, they have to clean up their play in a hurry.
No. 21: New Orleans Saints
The Saints defense did not play with their customary fire in this one. I wonder what could be different?
Lost in the clutter of the hype machine that was launched by rookie Robert Griffin's performance in the Redskins taking down the Saints, 40-32, in New Orleans was the fact that New Orleans looked sloppy.
The Saints did not lose a game at home all year last season, and now they are 0-1 at home. This is not a good sign.
It also shouldn't be all that surprising. Had the Saints cruised to victory in this one, what would it say about the value of coaching?
This team is currently being coached by an interim to an interim, and both those guys are trying to fill in for one of the most well-respected coaches in the business.
Coaches everywhere should be ecstatic that New Orleans lost.
No. 32: Buffalo Bills
If the Buffalo Bills don't make drastic improvements, they are not going to win a game ever again. They were that bad in Week 1.
They made a New York Jets team, whose offense could do nothing right in the preseason, look like the Marshal Faulk-Kurt Warner era Rams.
The Jets won that game, 48-28, and 21 of the Bills' points did not come until after this game was all but over.
The Bills had four turnovers—three of them came by the way of Ryan Fitzpatrick interceptions.
Nothing went right for the Bills, and there is little to suggest that anything will start to go right for them anytime soon.
