Aaron Rodgers Will Don 49ers Jersey All Week Thanks to Bet Lost to Boyz II Men

Aaron Rodgers may very well be rocking a San Francisco 49ers jersey all week.

If that weren't weird enough, Boyz II Men are making him do it. 

TMZ reports the Packers quarterback is good friends with the singing group that dominated the playlist at my eighth-grade dance. 

They are such good friends that one of the R&B singers launched into a friendly wager with the gunslinger:

...Aaron asked the guys if they would sing the National Anthem at the season opener at Lambeau Field on Sunday. But before the guys would agree to sing, Nathan Morris (the guy with the deep voice) had one MAJOR demand. 

Turns out, Morris is a bigtime 49ers fan...and proposed a friendly bet to the QB—if SF wins, Rodgers MUST WEAR an Alex Smith 49ers jersey for the remainder of the week. 

If GB wins, Morris has agreed to wear a Rodgers jersey.

Oops. 

That depressing fog hanging over Green Bay tells us the Packers lost on Sunday to the 49ers—placing Rodgers in quite the outfit pickle. 

The Packers leader and superstar is supposed to don the garb of a hated team that just took a game from them at Lambeau. 

As Shutdown Corner opines, "Morris would have had to wear a Packers jersey through this week had Green Bay won, but he's not a professional football player—he doesn't have to go to team meetings and film room and all other game-prep functions wearing the colors of the opposing team."

As the team readies to welcome a hated rival to its home, Rodgers will have to wear the look of shame all week, a 49ers-themed scarlet letter. 

I'm just glad I live in a world where an NFL quarterback can remind us that there was once a super-group from Philadelphia that apparently now loves the 49ers.
