Fantasy Football 2012: Updated Top 30 Tight Ends in Standard-Scoring Legues

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten (942 yards, 5 TD in 2011) has pulled down at least 79 catches in the last five seasons (2007-11).

Here's an updated listing of my top 30 tight ends in standard-scoring leagues.

Even with Jason Witten getting clearance to start working out again with Cowboys trainers (not necessarily with his teammates in practice), I'd still like to avoid drafting him until that second wave of talented tight ends (Fred Davis, Brandon Pettigrew, Tony Gonzalez, Brent Celek, Dustin Keller) comes off the board.

And for those who feel differently, well, that's certainly your prerogative. Witten (696 catches, 7,909 yards, 41 TD) has earned his 'toughness' merit badge over the years.
