Chad Johnson Divorce: Beverly Shiner Claims to Have Had an Affair with Johnson
As if last Friday’s alleged domestic violence incident wasn’t enough evidence that eccentric NFL personality Chad Johnson and reality star Evelyn Lozada should get divorced, reports are now surfacing that the star wide receiver had an affair with a 30-year-old woman during his time with the Patriots.
According to the Radar Online staff, Beverly Shiner revealed that she “dated” the man formerly known as Ochocinco from January up until May of 2012. Considering that Johnson and Lozada were planning to tie the knot for that time period, it’s quite a bold claim.
Take a look at what Shiner said about one incident where she and the former Bengals and Patriots star were together.
"While I was there he called Evelyn and asked if she could order a pizza to be delivered for him, and even had her pay for it on her credit card," Shiner told Radar. "I thought it was odd and wondered if she was really his fiancee or just a secretary."
Factoring in that Lozada just alleged that Johnson head-butted her after she found a receipt for condoms in the car, it seems that the couple was bound to split and were clearly unhappy.
The VH1 show, Ev and Ocho, was set to premier in September, but was cancelled by the cable network after news of the domestic dispute broke.
Both Johnson and Lozada are extremely public figures that do whatever they can to seek whatever modicum of fame they can reasonably reach. It’s not surprising that hangers-on like Shiner are now popping up to leech their 15 minutes.
It’s surprising that Johnson hasn’t moved on and started a relationship with Shiner now that Lozada has reportedly filed for divorce.
Here is a shining example of how romantic their fling was.
"He [Johnson] had asked me to come over so I drove there and knocked on his door and he didn’t answer even though I could hear his X Box playing. Then I texted him the next day and he didn’t apologize," Shiner told Radar.
It’s inevitable that more ridiculous stories are going to come about from Ev and Ocho’s big breakup, so keep it tuned here on Bleacher Report for more gossip as it breaks.
