Patriots Owner Bob Kraft and Ricki Noel Shine in Awkward Audition Tape

New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft has some serious chops, and so does his girlfriend Ricki Noel—only they decided to leave them at home prior to recording this movie audition.

The following video is enjoying Internet ubiquity at the moment, and you will see why. Shake a virtual bush and it's bound to drop out and start playing.

Be warned: There is a smidgen of NSFW language near the end, more specifically at the 1:35 mark. Further warning: The entire video is drenched in WTF.

You have now been warned.

Update: Wednesday, July 11th 4:00 p.m. ET

ESPN has a quote from Bob Kraft that explains a great deal more about this bizarre video that took over the Internet.

I tried to help Ricki prepare an audition tape for an upcoming Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson comedy by reading Wilson's lines. I never intended that it would be made public and I regret that it has. I think we can all agree that Owen Wilson has nothing to worry about. I am going to stick to my day job.

Fox has seen fit to take most of the videos down, but Deadspin has the video here

End of Update------

As you can plainly see, this is the first piece of evidence today that the drugs must be kicking in, because there is no way this is reality.

There is only one conclusion: This must be for a movie made by an eight-year-old with some serious financial backing.

Or it could be by Vince Vaughn.

Big Lead Sports directs our attention to a helpful tweet from Toucher and Rich.

Thanks to @jerrythornton1 from Barstool Sports for coming on & clarifying that the Bob Kraft video was an audition for a Vince Vaughn movie.

If true, I have a bit more confidence in this audition becoming bit cameos in a real movie.

I am guessing Vaughn, if he is indeed in charge, wanted to make sure Kraft and Noel had a pulse and were able to deliver English words in front of a camera without being inaudible—the usual criteria for celebrity cameos in movies.

With that, we say the duo only marginally succeeded.

That's not to say I didn't enjoy this audition video thoroughly, because I did. Kraft's wooden delivery and Noel's overacting are better than any donut and coffee to start the day.

I look forward to the two starring in the next blockbuster movie. Just don't rile Kraft, because he has a mean slow-motion right hook.
