Hamilton is just one of several big bats who were selected to team up for their respective league this summer in Kansas City, Missouri.

Without further ado, here are the 2012 All-Stars and starting rotations as voted on by the fans.

MLB Final Vote

MLB Final Vote continues from now until Thursday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. ET, according to MLB.com. Here are the 10 candidates:

American League: Jonathan Broxton, Yu Darvish, Ernesto Frieri, Jason Hammel and Jake Peavy

National League: Michael Bourn, David Freese, Bryce Harper, Aaron Hill, and Chipper Jones

Josh Hamilton Sets Record

Texas Rangers star Josh Hamilton, who is playing at an MVP level this season, set a new record in fan votes, receiving 11,073,744 in 2012. Hamilton has homered 25 times this season and knocked in more than 70 runs through the season's first two months.

Hamilton will be key for the National League in next week's All-Star Game. He should come up huge for the side as he is swinging a hot bat this summer.

Derek Jeter Earns 7th Consecutive AL All-Star Nod

The ageless wonder, New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter earned his seventh straight All-Star nod for the American League on Sunday, thanks to receiving a mass of fan votes. Jeter missed out on last year's midsummer classic because of fatigue, but will bring infield experience and a steady hand to the plate for the AL.

Jeter is certain to make a few big plays on defense, but could become even more of a factor at the plate, where he is batting .300 this season with the Yankees.
