Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssssssssse! For the love of the Buffalo Bills! Draft the absolute stud WR out of Indiana! Ladies and Gentlemen, James Hardy is one hell of a good football player.
Hardy's size makes me think of Plexico Burress. At 6'7" and 220 lbs, Hardy is too much to be ignored. He has great, soft hands, is physical, and will go up and get the ball with his outstanding length. Hardy is a very dangerous target—especially in the red zone.
In Hardy's senior year he found the paydirt 11 out of 12 games. The kid had five two-TD games and caught 79 balls! His average yards-per-catch over his college career is 14.4, and he has great speed for his size.
10 TDs in 2005, 10 TDs in 2006—and last season, he caught a whopping 16 TDs! In one of his most memorable games against Michigan State in 2006, he caught six balls for 84 yards and with six touchdowns! In his senior season he had 79 receptions for 1,125 yards with 16 scores. This kid is a FREAK.
Often overlooked for bigger-hyped players like Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed, and DeSean Jackson Hardy could last until possibly the end of round one beginning of round two.
The Bills have a need for a CB, and they could obviously take that route and draft one of the many CBs available at the 11th spot—or they could go my way.
The could could probably trade down from the 11th spot in return for an additional pick, probably a second- or third-rounder. With this extra pick from trading down, I would acquire TE Dustin Keller from Purdue. He had a great combine and is a recieving threat the Bills are looking for at TE.
Hardy will definitely make an immediate impact on an offense that has struggled this past season, especially over the opponent's 20-yard line.
Now, here's the question: Do you want to see Lindell kicking for three, or should the Bills draft James Hardy? Ha ha—it rhymes, baby!

I think Jame Hardy will turn out better than alot of these other WR prospects and make an immediate impact on the Buffalo Bills Offense. Tell me what you think people!

Buffalo needs to take a CB at the 11th spot. Trading down in the first is a HUGE step backwards. It isn't that big of a reach to keep the 11th pick and still grab Hardy in the second. He would be worth trading up to the early picks of Round 2, wouldn't you agree?

hes but with the added picks we would be alot more flexible and likely to get another one of my favorites keller whos plunged himself into the 2nd round with a great combine. I would be ahppy with a corner as well with the 11th. and then trade up to the early picks for hardy. I'm just very nervous that hardy will go at the end of the first. Manningham had a trrible combine and im just worried that Hardy will go earlier than expected.

I agree but I think we can draft a CB with our 1st and find a way to move up a couple of spots using our 2nd and maybe Losman or a late round pick to move into the top of the 2nd or even better the bottom of the first maybe a Viking-Bills trade and get Hardy. Probably won't happen but that combined with a TE like Keller or Bennett later in the draft and maybe Colt Brennen in the 6th to back up Edwards for years to come would be a fun way to end the offseason. Either way I want Hardy no matter how we get him. I saw his scouting film and wow he is big, fast and has good hands. He would be unstoppable in the redzone. Let's get it

i know he's got 4.47 speed (or whatever good time he ran) but he's still not an explosive guy who gets to top speed quick. seems like more of a matt jones (who ran a 4.35, i might add) as far as long speed goes-can run 40 yards fast but it doesn't translate to functional 'football' speed which has to be adapted to a lot of different situations.

James Hardy is a good pick...but the Bills need a CB more badly !!! Last off-season the Bills lost big names on "D" . They re-filled them all in the 2007 draft with great talent! Last off-season they fixed the "O-Line" via free agencey and drafted a RB in rounnd one. This year they filled the hole at LB, all whats left is WR & CB. I say sign Bryant Johnson and draft the top CB in round 1. The Bills need to fill the hole left by Nate Clements. If the Bills do that, they will me a solid team for the next little while !!!

Good posts as for will, good insight. I dont think Hardy will end up like matt jones because Hardy's got much better hands and also is actually compitent in running routes. I think he will be a poor mans Plexico Burress. Burress isnt to quick of the line but hes a great route runner who positions his body well.

If Hardy plays with Evans with the Bills I won't even watch football. They would be so awesome no DB's would be able to cover them and the Bills would win games by 60 points

think about this, draft Hardy in second rd and add 30 lbs to his frame and now you have one heck of a TE prospect. What do you think guys?

Where do you read that Hardy was 6'7? I have been reading him at 6'5 - and once i saw him posted at 6'6.

1st- WR Malcolm Kelly[Oklahoma]: Great size, good speed and incredible hands (only dropped one pass during his last 2 years at Oklahoma). 2nd- CB Tracy Porter[Indiana]: Has the speed to be a top corner in the league (4.32 40-yard dash), great cover skills, and good vertical leap. Also a very versatile player, can play FS and can add depth on special teams as a kick returner. 3rd- TE Brad Cottam[Tennessee]: This guy is Huge and would be a good fit as a receiving TE in Buffalo, at (6' 7 1/2", 270lbs.). Good speed for his size (4.63 40-yard dash). Smart Player and natural athlete. 4th- FB Owen Schmitt[West Virginia]: Strong, Tough, Powerful Back. "smash mouth style" would be perfect to clear the way for Marshawn. If we end up with anything that resembles this on draft day I will be a happy man.

I love malcolm kelly as well. Amazing athlete with great hands, but I want to get more bang for the picks we have. Get a TOP NOTCH CORNER, then go after a WR. I wouldnt be upset if we went Kelly first though. And under ESPN hes listed as 6'7 and also under the college website.

I would be happy we went 1st-CB and 2nd-WR. or visa versa. If we did decide to go with a corner in the first, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Enough Said. If we decide to go WR in the 2nd, Early Doucet could fall down to Buffalo with the 41st pick. Devon Thomas out of Michigan State will be around in the 2nd as well. I don't know about Hardy, considering his arrest on domestic battery charges in 2006, and I know our Front Office is big on guys with good character. But I'm going to revert to my first view. Take kelly in the first, when I look at this guy i see the next TO.
