David Wright and 5 MLB Stars You'd Most Want to Marry Your Daughter
Fred Wilpon has never been afraid to speak his mind about the players on his team. His latest comments have to leave some people shaking their heads.
Dave Lennon of Newsday (@DPLennon) tweeted an interesting quote from Wilpon on Wednesday:
Fred Wilpon iffy on Wright as superstar, but likes him as son-in-law: "If I had another daughter, I’d love if she married a David Wright.”
This was certainly a surprising thing for Wilpon to say about Wright. There are a number of other ball players that could be good matches as a son-in-law as well.
David Wright seems like a great guy to hang out with and someone that would be very respectful.
He would be a good addition to any family. It is hard to see any father not giving his daughter permission to marry Wright.
Matt Kemp's career is absolutely taking off and he is one of the best players in baseball. He also signed a long-term deal recently.
There are about 180 million reasons why a father would not mind having Kemp as their son-in-law.
Stephen Strasburg, the Washington Nationals ace, has been virtually impossible to hit this year. He is one of the best pitches in all of baseball.
The 23-year-old would also make the perfect son-in-law. He is very hardworking, and based on his Twitter feed he has a good personality.
Evan Longoria has had his fair share of injury issues, but he has emerged as a top third baseman.
Having your daughter marry Longoria certainly has some benefits. You could take a number of vacations to Florida to visit the family.
Justin Upton is a young star for the Arizona Diamondbacks and he has a personality that seems to draw people to him.
Upton has a very bright future ahead of him and he seems like he would be a great family man.
