What About Jon Garland? Pettitte & Sheets Undecided, Garcia’s Not an Option…

You haven’t heard much about Jon Garland coming to the Yankees, but would it work? Garland is coming off his worst season of his career.

His record might not show it, but he wasn’t very good at all. He had his highest ERA (4.90) since his rookie season. He gave up over a hit per inning, (237 H in 196IP!). His strikeouts were down as well.

I don’t know what his price would be, but I’m not very high on him. People complain about Pettitte, but Garland’s numbers are even worse. I honestly believe that Garland would get eaten up in the AL East. Just my 2¢…
