As expected, the St. Louis Rams formally rejected the proposal by the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, as reported by the St. Louis Business Journal.

Who would be the best Rams trading partner regarding the No. 2 pick? St. Louis Post-Dispatch writers share their views on that topic here.
According to turfshowtimes.com, the Rams are talking with Brandon Lloyd about a possible return to St. Louis next year. Lloyd is one of a plethora of big-name free agents that could hit the market this year.
Elsewhere, Howard Balzer of 101sports.com explains why he feels it would make no sense to trade Sam Bradford.
The 2010 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year encountered a sophomore slump in 2011. For that reason, among others, some fans suggested that St. Louis would perhaps be better off with a different starting quarterback.
