NFL Combine 2012: Quinton Coples and Trench Warriors Who Will Impress
NFL games are won and lost in the trenches, so scouts will be scouring the 2012 NFL Combine for warriors who can dominate the line of scrimmage.
Although every Combine invitee is athletic (obviously), the following linemen will use their unparalleled physical gifts to separate themselves from the pack. With the draft just over two months away, these prospects will boost their stock with strong performances.

NFL Draft Trades We Wish Happened 😭

Biggest Questions Surrounding 2026 NFL Season After the Draft 🤔
Everyone knows that Coples is freakishly athletic, but an up-close and personal look will give scouts a true grasp of his potential. Last season, Coples used his blazing speed to rack up 55 tackles and 7.5 sacks, despite battling double teams all year long.
For a guy who's 6'6", 285 pounds, Coples' speed and lateral agility is insane. Expect him to put up some mind-boggling times in the 40-yard dash and shuttle run.
Right now, Coples is widely projected as a top 10 or 15 pick. After he wows scouts during his drills, he could climb into the top five.
Bobby Massie, OT, Ole Miss
Matt Kalil and Riley Reiff get most of the attention at offensive tackle, but Massie's stock is quickly rising. After he puts on a show at the combine, he should elevate into late first-round, early second-round territory.
Massie is a physical specimen at 6'6", 325 pounds. He's got long arms, good top-end speed and ridiculous durability. After years of grappling with the SEC's top defensive linemen, Massie should adjust well to the NFL.
Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
Brockers is a force in the middle of the line, using his 6'6", 306-pound frame to wreak havoc on opposing offensive linemen.
He gets good penetration thanks to his technique and speed, which is borderline amazing given his size. Expect him to tear it up in the speed drills and post a solid number in the bench press.
Brockers' stock has been rising lately. With a strong showing next week, he could move into the top 10.
