Rex Ryan Video: Watch Jets Coach Jinx the Ravens and Giants

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan thinks the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants are going to the Super Bowl.

The Ravens and Giants are now officially doomed.

If you weren't listening to or watching Mike Francesa earlier Friday on New York City 's WFAN, then you missed Ryan make his picks for the AFC and NFC Championship Games.

He's got the Ravens being too tough for the New England Patriots and the Giants being too tough for the San Francisco 49ers.

Ryan's reasoning is sound. He pointed out that it takes a tough, physical defense to beat the Patriots, and the Ravens just so happen to have one of those. Concerning the NFC matchup, Ryan thinks the Giants defense is going to be too much for the 49ers, and believes the G-Men will be just fine passing against them.

In essence, legit football picks from a guy who knows football.

So, why are the Ravens and Giants jinxed, you ask?

Simply because we're talking about Rex Ryan. He tends to make bold predictions, and his bold predictions have a way of failing him.

Like, for example, his yearly "the Jets are going to the Super Bowl!" predictions. He keeps making that prediction, but the Jets are actually trending in the opposite direction. To boot, they are doing so in embarrassing fashion (though I personally find the entire spectacle to be quite amusing).

So feel free to put the bubbly on ice, Patriots and Niners. In fact, both of you may as well not show up at all. The Ravens and Giants will probably do the exact opposite of what Ryan said on their own.

Or we could all just ignore this and watch the Patriots and 49ers win on their own. Both of them are better teams.
