NFL Predictions Week 7: New York Jets and Teams Who'll Restore Playoff Hopes
We aren't halfway done with the season, but playoff-caliber teams are being unfairly written off as hopeless disappointments that won't sniff the postseason.
While overhyped teams like the Redskins are watching their playoff dreams go down the toilet, there are a number of teams still within striking distance who are going to turn it on and work their way back into the playoff picture.
Here are three teams who'll restore playoff hopes after Week 7 wins.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Jets are one win away from moving to above .500. Though they aren't going to catch the Patriots, with the Bills falling off and the Steelers proving they aren't invincible, a wild-card spot isn't out of the question by any means.
The Chargers are 4-1, but they're far worse than their record indicates. With wins over the Vikings, Chiefs Dolphins and Colts, their skewed numbers and inflated record isn't impressive. The Chargers beat three of the aforementioned teams by seven points or less.
The Jets face a weaker opponent this week, and they're at home. Their top five pass defense will give Philip Rivers fits and expose the Chargers for the middle-of-the-road team they are. The Jets get to go into the bye week 4-3, before facing the Patriots and Buffalo twice in a four-game span.
It looks like the 49ers are running away with the division, but when the Seahawks take down the Browns, they'll bring themselves within striking distance while the 49ers are on a bye week. The 5-1 49ers have been overly impressive to kickoff this season, but just like last season, the Seahawks could easily gain steam to close out the season.
That starts this week with the Browns. Peyton Hillis is disgruntled, and his production is embarrassing. With 211 yards on the season, nobody is afraid of the Browns' run game.
The Seahawks shocked the world last time they took the field by taking down the Giants on the road. They've won two of their last three games and are coming off a bye week. The Seahawks will move to 3-3 after this week, and in the NFC West, that makes them a serious contender.
The Redskins are entering John Beck turmoil, the division leading Giants were taken down by the Seahawks at home and the Eagles are 2-4. The perplexing NFC East division remains just as uncertain as ever.
There is no true favorite, but the Cowboys and Redskins will have the same record after this week and the Giants are on a bye.
The Cowboys have been inconsistent and Felix Jones is banged up, but the Rams are downright terrible. Sam Bradford has been dropped a league-high 22 times, and you can expect Rob Ryan to unleash DeMarcus Ware on vulnerable sitting duck Sam Bradford.
