PAOK Claim UEFA Champions League Spot with Triple Wins
The tantalising picture of the PAOK Thessaloniki ladies in many ways sums up the glitzy glamour that awaits the men of the club next season.
After back-to-back wins against Greek powerhouses Olympiakos, PAOK have once again claimed their place among Europe's elite, with a place in the 2010-11 UEFA Champions League.
Should they get through the playoff round, matches against the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and AC Milan await.
But that's not the only achievement these PAOK players gained with their double victory against Olympiakos in the Greek Super League playoff for the Champions League.
PAOK Thessaloniki are now unofficially the greatest team in the world, courtesy of Barney Corkhill's Unofficial World Club Championship (UWCC).
Back-to-back victories against Olympiakos were also followed up with a well-deserved victory against another big gun in Greece's top-flight.
AEK Athens had the audacity to come and claim their UWCC title back from PAOK Thessaloniki, but the PAOK players were having none of it whatsoever.
Instead of only drawing 0-0 like they needed to defend their UWCC title, PAOK went all-out for a win, beating AEK, 1-0, courtesy of a goal by Bosnia and Herzegovina star Zlatan Muslimovic on 52 minutes.
The match against AEK was watched at the Stadio Toumbas by a crowd of 25,303.

PAOK Thessaloniki's fourth and final UWCC title defence of the season comes on Wednesday, 19 May, against former UWCC champions Aris Salonika, who themselves have done brilliantly well in making the Greek Super League playoffs for a place in the Champions League.
Form book (last five matches): Aris - WLLDD; PAOK - DWWWW
Yoosof's prediction: Aris 0-1 PAOK Thessaloniki
What are your predictions for this upcoming fixture? Can Aris reclaim their UWCC title, or will PAOK continue their unbeaten streak? Will it be yet another 1-0 victory for PAOK?
