NFL Week 8 Predictions: Redskins and Teams Whose Playoff Hopes Will Disappear
This is the point in the season where teams not involved in the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes start falling out of the playoff hunt. As if missing the playoffs isn't bad enough, these teams don't even have April to look forward to.
The Rams, Colts, Vikings, Panthers, Cardinals, Dolphins and Broncos are all out of the playoff hunt. After this week, they'll have more company.
Here are three teams whose playoff hopes will disappear after Week 8 losses.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Redskins started out the season red hot, but with Tim Hightower, Chris Cooley and Santana Moss going down and John Beck jumping into the starting role, the Redskins are in disarray offensively.
They have to go into Buffalo this week after losing three of their last four games. Their pass defense no longer ranks in the top 10 in the league, and their run defense is in the bottom half of the league. At 3-4, the Redskins won't have the weaponry to catch up to the surging Cowboys and Giants.
The Cleveland Browns are .500 going into Week 8. While they are still within striking distance in the ultra-competitive AFC North, they've only beaten the winless Dolphins and Rams and the lackluster Seahawks in a pathetic "clash" that ended 6-3.
The Browns have the top-rated pass defense in the league, but they face a talented 49ers team on the road, and Peyton Hillis still isn't completely recovered from his hamstring injury. The 119.5 rushing YPG the Browns allow are going to cripple them when they square off with Frank Gore. With the strength of their schedule lying ahead, the Browns' playoff dreams will end this week.
The Seahawks are three games back already, but this is the NFC West right? 7-9 won the division a season ago and though the 49ers have come out with guns blazing, their success could go as quickly as it has come.
That may be so, but the 49ers have a victory locked up this week against the Browns, and the Seahawks have to take on the Bengals this week. Cincinnati has the No. 2 defense in the league, and the Seahawks are the fourth-worst passing team and second-worst rushing team in the league. Fans will enter Qwest field with a glimmer of hope and leave thinking about April.
