NFL Week 7 Predictions: Dallas Cowboys lose, 49ers Win; Pittsburgh Dominates
The 2010 NFL season is getting crazier and crazier. Last week, we had 11 injuries, two near blow outs (Buccaneers and Jaguars), a couple of surprise wins (49ers and Colts) and one game of "Hot Potato" (Dallas Cowboys).
If anybody knows of a crazier season than this one, please let me know. It's like the NFL as a whole is on experimental drugs from the 60's or something. I was a casual football watcher, but now I am riveted to the TV and to Facebook so that my FBF's can keep me posted on the games that are not aired in my area. Last week, I only got four correct predictions, but hey, I had a great time watching the outcome. What's Week 7 going to be like? I can't wait.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Now, on to my predictions....
Cincinnati @ Atlanta: The Bengals coming off of a bye week, which means, they have either been practicing like heck, or home watching videos of their upcoming opponents. All the tapes in the world won't do them any good. Atlanta is no doubt pouting over the pounding they received in Philadelphia. They are out to redeem themselves. And on top of that, they are home this week.
Cincinnati 17 - Atlanta 28
Pittsburgh @ Miami: This will be a very interesting game. The Steelers have been playing consistently great football. Miami has been playing consistently great football. This is gonna be a battle of the defenses. Pittsburgh plays extremely well on the road (ask Tampa Bay). Although I love me some Dolphins, the Steelers defense does have a slight edge.
Pittsburgh 23 - Miami 20
Buffalo @ Baltimore: Although I'm wishing for every team to win at least ONE game this season this is not the week for the Bills. Buffalo is 0-5 and by Sunday evening, they will be 0-6. The Ravens will simply run the Buffalo amuck.
Buffalo 10 - Baltimore 28
Jacksonville @ Kansas City: Who among us thought the Chiefs would be the leaders in their division? Who among us thought that the Jaguars would be last in their division? (Ummm..I DID!) David Garrard is hurt, their back up QB is a relic who is a magnet for sacks, and did anybody catch the look of total disgust/disappointment/embarassment on Maurice Jones-Drew's face during the fourth quarter? ( If MJD is in Jacksonville much longer, I'd be very surprised.) Jacksonville is HORRIBLE on the road. Kansas City plays well wherever they go, and this week they are in their own back yard. The Chiefs are about to skin the Big Cat.
Jacksonville 10 - Kansas City 28
Cleveland @ New Orleans: I already got my "every team wins a game" wish with Cleveland. Good thing too, because there ain't no way that the Browns are gonna beat the Saints AT HOME! Especially since Drew Brees and the boys got their mojo back. You can watch this one if you want to, but it's pretty predictable.
Washington @ Chicago: The Redskins are playing VERY well this year, despite the loss last week against the Colts. (Well, after all, it was THE COLTS!) And they STILL managed to score 24 points on Peyton and the boys. If they play like that this week, it should be an easy win against the Bears. Jay Cutler's O-line needs to REALLY get themselves together. Jay needs all the protection he can get.
Washington 33 - Chicago 17
San Francisco @ Carolina: I should rename this game: " The battle of the bottom" since both teams are at the bottom of their division. The 49ers have achieved my "one game wish". The Panthers have NOT. Something is just NOT clicking in Carolina. I don't know if its their offense, defense, towel boy or what, but something is definitely missing. Wait a minute, I know whats missing: A FOOTBALL TEAM! Sure would be nice if they had one. My wish will NOT be granted to the Panthers this week.
San Francisco 28 - Carolina 13
St Louis @ Tampa Bay: Man, this is gonna be a good game. Despite the Buccaneers loss to the Saints, they are STILL a very good team. The Rams are a surprise to most football watchers. They have been winning games when everyone else (including myself) had wrote them off. This is gonna be a hard one to call, so I am gonna go for the team with the home field advantage.
Philadelphia @ Tennessee: This will be the game to watch this week. The Eagles have a double threat with two outstanding QB's, and neither teams defense is anything to toy with. Because Philadelphia has such great quarterbacks, I am going to have to go with them.
Philadelphia 30 - Tennessee 24
Arizona @ Seattle: My first instinct would be to say "Who Cares?" because these are two lackluster teams in a lackluster division. But since I have to predict a winner....
New England @ San Diego: I have been highly critical of Tom Brady, and I should apologize. I always thought that THE Patriots were a good team because that's how that team was bred, and Tom Brady was just part of the breeding. Over the last few weeks, I have to renege - a little. While it's still true that the Patriots are bred that way, no team could really be any good without a decent QB. So, Brady, you are a decent QB. I'm pouring hot sauce on my words, so that they'll taste better as I eat them. Perhaps I should save them as a snack during the game Sunday, while you guys beat up on the Chargers.
New England 33 - San Diego 17
Oakland @ Denver: A divisional game that will determine 2nd place. I say that, because Kansas City is NOT going to be be dethroned by the likes of either of these two. Or anyone one else in that division. Denver still needs a lot of help with their offense. Also, the Raiders are still angry about that loss to the 49ers last week.
Minnesota @ Green Bay: My two favorite teams from the deep North. I don't care that the Packers lost last week to Miami. I do care that Brett Farve is looking more and more worn out every game. Farve is a great sportsman, a legendary quarterback, and I give him much respect for hanging in there, but he is beginning to actually LOOK rather haggard. His O-line REALLY needs to protect him. I don't think they will be able to protect him from the Packers. Those boys come out to play, and they won't take pity on a 96 year old Farve.
New York Giants @ Dallas: THIS is the game I am waiting for. Eli Manning is a outstanding QB (its in his DNA) and it is a joy to watch any Manning child play football. I can't wait to see what the Cowboys will do this week. They are so very entertaining. Dallas is a text book example of what happens to a team when they lack leadership and discipline. Last week they played "Hot Potato" in the fourth quarter. I can't hardly wait to see what they do this week. What's up your sleeve this week, Dallas? The Hokey Pokey? Hopscotch? The Electric Slide? Shadow Puppets?
New York Giants 35 - Dallas 20
