Andre Iguodala Reportedly Cancels Rest of FA Meetings After Rockets Discussion

Free-agent swingman Andre Iguodala has canceled the remainder of his free-agent meetings, The Vertical's Shams Charania reported Saturday.

ESPN.com's Chris Haynes reported Iguodala planned to meet with the San Antonio Spurs first when the moratorium period started at 12:01 ET Saturday morning, with the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings also on his schedule. Haynes added that the 2012 All-Star hadn't yet carved out a time to have a meeting with the Golden State Warriors.                

Regarding Iguodala's meeting with the Rockets, USA Today's Sam Amick reported there were "good vibes shared by all," adding the 33-year-old may use Houston's interest as leverage with the Warriors:

ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne reported the Lakers also called Iguodala early Saturday morning.

The Warriors are reportedly working on a contingency plan should they fail to re-sign Iguodala. According to ESPN.com's Adrian Wojnarowski (via HoopsHype's Alex Kennedy), Golden State would set its sights on Rudy Gay as a replacement.

Charania reported June 19 that Iguodala was looking to cash in this offseason, even if it meant leaving the Bay Area. League sources told Charania that Iguodala could command $20 million annually in his next contract.

Haynes reported Kevin Durant was willing to take less money on his next contract in order to help facilitate Iguodala's return to the Warriors. According to Haynes, Durant would receive a two-year contract with an opt-out clause after the first year.

Turner Sports analyst David Aldridge reported the Warriors don't expect Iguodala's decision to have an impact on Durant's negotiations.
