Jaylen Brown Reacts to Tacko Fall Signing 76ers Contract, Played Together on Celtics

Philadelphia 76ers star Jaylen Brown appears to be happy about reuniting with Tacko Fall.

Brown reacted Tuesday to the news the Sixers signed Fall along with Jameer Nelson Jr. and Saint Thomas:

Brown was teammates with the 7'6" center for two seasons on the Boston Celtics.

Fall is unlikely to play an important role in Philly, as ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported he signed an Exhibit 10 deal. He has logged 37 total appearances in the NBA since debuting in 2019, and his last action came in December 2021.

Since then, he has played abroad in China and New Zealand.

The 30-year-old nonetheless remains a subject of fascination because of his otherworldly height. Gheorghe Mureșan and Manute Bol, both 7'7", are the only two players who are taller to have played in the NBA.

The Sixers will head into the 2026-27 with Joel Embiid as their starting center and Adem Bona penciled in as the backup. Perhaps Fall will be able to impress the coaches enough in training camp to claim a roster spot.
