NFL Week 16 Betting Odds: Panthers, Eagles, Broncos Highlight Week Favorites
With only two weeks left in the regular season, the Carolina Panthers (14-0) just need a pair of wins to equal the 2007 New England Patriots as the only two teams to go a perfect 16-0.
The Panthers will play their second consecutive road game in Week 16, visiting the Atlanta Falcons (7-7) on Sunday as seven-point betting favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark in an NFC South matchup.
Carolina has already clinched the division title along with home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs en route to becoming a top favorite on the Super Bowl betting lines, so the team is simply chasing history over the last two weeks.

Atlanta snapped a six-game losing streak with a 23-17 road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. However, the Falcons have lost their last five divisional games both straight up and against the spread, and they are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 overall. The home team is 5-1 ATS in the past six meetings.
Week 16 will kick off with an AFC West matchup between the Oakland Raiders (6-8) and San Diego Chargers (4-10) on Thursday night. The Raiders are consensus 5.5-point home favorites, but they are just 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five games as chalk.
The Chargers are 3-0 SU and ATS in their past three as underdogs versus Oakland, and the visiting team is also 7-3 in the previous 10 meetings overall, according to the Odds Shark NFL Database.
The NFC East title will be on the line Saturday night in Philadelphia when the Eagles (6-8) host the Washington Redskins (7-7) as three-point home favorites. Washington can clinch the division with a victory, while Philadelphia still controls its own destiny and can win the NFC East by beating the Redskins and New York Giants (6-8) in the last two games.
The favorite is 0-3 ATS in the past three meetings, and the Eagles have lost three of their last four home games both SU and ATS after falling to the Arizona Cardinals 40-17 as 3.5-point underdogs in the Week 15 Sunday night game.
The Cardinals (12-2) have clinched a playoff spot and the NFC West. They can continue their momentum with a home victory against the Green Bay Packers (10-4) on Sunday. Arizona lost safety Tyrann Mathieu for the season due to a torn ACL suffered at Philadelphia but is a 4.5-point favorite versus Green Bay.
The Packers have won three in a row SU and ATS, while the Cardinals are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs (9-5) for the NFL’s second-longest current winning streak at eight straight.
The Denver Broncos (10-4) can clinch the AFC West title with a victory against the Cincinnati Bengals (11-3) on Monday night. The Broncos are 3.5-point home favorites but could still possibly miss the playoffs with losses in their last two games and if the Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) and New York Jets (9-5) all win out.
The Bengals can also secure a first-round bye with a win at Denver on Monday night.
