Richard Sherman Says Pierre Garcon Pulled His Hair, 'Doesn't Matter' in the NFL
Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom did not dominate Monday night.
In an uncharacteristically disorganized showing, the Seahawks secondary struggled to hold up under a surprisingly aggressive Washington passing game. Kirk Cousins wedged balls into tight coverage, DeSean Jackson switched on the afterburners, and Pierre Garcon may or may not be wanted for the assault and battery of Sherman's signature flow.
According to CSNWashington.com's JP Finlay, the Seahawks' shutdown corner offered some candid remarks to reporters after Seattle's 27-17 victory over Washington on Monday Night Football. Specifically, he said Garcon played dirty and is a non-entity in the NFL.

"Yeah," he said about whether Garcon had pulled his hair. "Pierre did a few things. When you can't get open, you got to do whatever you can. The crowd is acting like I'm holding him. Obviously the TV copy you can see what happened."
The play Sherman referred to was a deep route Garcon ran down the middle of the field. The two grappled for position, with Garcon appearing to give Sherman's dreadlocks a tug.
Sherman also told reporters that Garcon is an ineffectual player in professional football.
"Pierre doesn't matter in this league," Sherman said.
When given a chance to backtrack on the comment, the Seahawks corner emphasized it, saying, "I mean exactly what I said."
Sherman’s words, while harsh, would make The Rock proud.
Telling your opponent he doesn't matter is about as belittling a statement as one can make. Garcon doesn't seem to be taking the bait, however.
The Washington wide receiver tweeted links to his Facebook and Sqor.com profiles, which display the Imam Ali quote "Silence is the best reply to a fool."

Clearly, no Thanksgiving plans are ruined by the bad blood developing between these two.
