Neymar and Kun Agüero are out of the competition to be Madrid's next signing.

Who's left in the running to become the next Galáctico?

So many rumors involving Neymar and Kun—yet one will stay with Santos and the other has signed with Manchester City (one of which I predicted a long time ago: Kun to City).

We're all expecting Florentino Pérez to spend big once more, aren't we?

Who might the "Superior Being" have in the books to be his blockbuster signing this season?

Start the slideshow to find out!

Javier Pastore

Palermo's president has said Pastore will be on his way out in the next few days.

Could it be he's on his way to being a Merengue?

Probably not, but Pastore could certainly be the signing that Florentino Pérez is looking for.

Especially if they pay his €40-million-plus price tag.

Probability of being the next Galactico signing:  2 percent

Robin Van Persie

Van Persie certainly hates Barcelona with all his heart, so he would be a perfect fit in Madrid.

And he would come at a hefty price, so he would be considered for a Galactico signing.

But will he leave Arsenal?

Therein lie my doubts.

He would definitely be an impressive buy, though.

Maicon

Maicon has been forever linked to be Madrid's right back. But his transfer to the Bernabeu never pans out.

With Inter buying Cruzeiro's Jonathan, though, Maicon's end with Il Biscione might be nearby.

Could he be on his way to dressing in white?

Mourinho would certainly approve.

And he does match the profile Florentino likes for his signings, too.

Probability of being the next Galactico signing: 15 percent

Carlos Tévez

What club has the money to pay Carlos's €50-million price tag?

Ah, yes—Real Madrid, who happen to be looking for a forward.

And Tévez has said himself he wants to play in Spain.

All those things considered, there's a very high chance this deal will end up happening.

Probability of being the next Galactico signing: 30 percent

Emmanuel Adebayor

But in the end, they'll get "Manu."

Mourinho wants him.

He wants to be there.

He'll cost some money himself, so Florentino will be glad.

Manchester City want to sell.

The only thing stopping this deal from happening is if they're negotiating for Tevez.
