Sakho Fills Lovren-Shaped Void
Dejan Lovren had been asked to plug the gap in Sakho's absence and performed admirably in recent games for the Reds, even earning a nomination for Premier League Player of the Month for November.
However, he suffered an injury of his own in the recent draw with West Bromwich Albion, so Sakho's return could not have come at a better time.
Sakho had been an automatic starter in defence under Klopp prior to his injury, and he adds a dash of athleticism and on-ball ability to Liverpool's back line.
