Arsene Wenger Reportedly Contacted by PSG Regarding Potential Arsenal Exit
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned down yet another offer to leave the Gunners from French champions Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports from France.
L'Equipe (h/t Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson) says that PSG contacted the French manager with an eye on replacing current manager Laurent Blanc, but the 65-year-old turned down their approach:

Blanc may have steered PSG past Chelsea in their Champions League round-of-16 clash, but all is not well in the French capital. The defending champions had a dreadful start to their 2014-15 Ligue 1 campaign and are currently chasing Lyon in the standings.
PSG's inability to put away inferior opponents has haunted them all season, and per WhoScored.com, they've already played out 11 draws in Ligue 1 so far—the most in the league. Blanc has been criticised all season, and French Football Weekly's Andrew Gibney tried to make a fair assessment of his performances so far after Wednesday's triumph over Chelsea:
On paper, Wenger would seem like an ideal replacement. The experienced coach is highly regarded in his native France and has plenty of experience managing star players, as well as nurturing young talent.
He guided Arsenal to the summit of English football when he first arrived in England and has been forced to work with a smaller budget than the club's main rivals in recent years, but he has always found a way to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
Wenger isn't the only manager being mentioned as a potential replacement for Blanc. Via Johnson, Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone is also high on PSG's list, along with Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini:
But the Arsenal manager remains the man most frequently linked with the job, dating back to 2013, as reported by The Telegraph's Paul Hayward.
Wenger has his detractors, and a campaign to have him removed as Arsenal manager has only gained steam throughout the past few years—much to the enjoyment of PSG in all likelihood.
The Daily Mail's Oliver Holt believes the suggestion of sacking Wenger is ludicrous:
There's no denying the longtime Gunners manager is getting up there in age, but as long as he continues to get results, he'll be a popular target for sides looking for an experienced manager ready to take over and win immediately.
Wenger's collection of silverware has been limited in recent years, highlighted by last year's FA Cup. His squad is still in the running to repeat as cup winners in 2015, and judging by their latest form, they're a strong bet to do just that.
The Frenchman has been in London since 1996, and after so much time, it's difficult to imagine him taking the reins at another club. PSG may be keen, but unless the current campaign takes a drastic turn for the worse, there's no way Wenger won't be back at the Emirates for the 2015-16 season.
