The Giants head to Foxboro to take on the Patriots in a clash of 5-2 teams.
The Patriots are trying to rebound from an ugly 25-17 loss to the Steelers. Meanwhile the Giants narrowly escaped a big upset by beating the Dolphins 20-17
This is a huge game for both teams. The Patriots are currently tied with the Bills for first place in the AFC East. The Giants enjoy a two game lead in their division, but they will be eager to maintain a lead over the improving Dream Team Eagles.

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit' Em and Sleeper
Start 'Em: Giants' QB Eli Manning
Manning has progressed to the point where he is an every week starter, but in case you aren't sure, or have to really good QBs, this is definitely a week to start him.
The Giants' offense is primarily moved by their passing game. They are fourth in the NFL in passing yards per game. This matches up well against a Patriots team that can't stop teams from passing.
The Patriots are dead last in passing yards allowed per game. Manning should get plenty of pass attempts to open receivers in this one.
Sit 'Em: Patriots' TE Aaron Hernandez
Aaron Hernandez has been a fantasy beast when healthy this season. However, he was not a focal point of the Patriots' passing attack last week, and he won't be this week.
The Giants are solid defending TEs. They are ranked 13th by Football Outsiders against the position. They also have been poor on run defense, ranking 28th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed.
This will lead to the Patriots trying to assert their running game and look to other spots than the TE in the passing game.
Sleeper: Giants' WR Victor Cruz
I don't consider Cruz much of a sleeper at this point. He has clearly asserted himself as the Giants No. 2 passing option. He is approaching the level of an every week starter. And this is definitely a week to start him.
As we just discussed the Patriots have struggled stopping the pass, and the Giants are going to find a lot of success in the air. This will mean big production for Cruz.
What They're Saying (local media)
New England Patriots' WR Julian Edelman has found himself in a bit of trouble. Brian R. Ballou and John R. Ellement have the story on boston.com:
""In today's Big Story video, Mike Bello reports that Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was charged with indecent assault on a woman in a Back Bay nightclub.
"New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was released on personal recognizance today after being arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on one count of indecent assault and battery for allegedly groping a woman at a Back Bay nightclub."
"
The New York Giants know they have to contain Wes Welker
if they want to slow down the Patriots. Ohm Youngmisuk on ESPN talks about their plan to slow him down:
"The Pittsburgh Steelers didn't devise some elaborate scheme to slow down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, according to Antrel Rolle.
"They played ball, man," the Giants safety said of the Steelers containing the Patriots' offense in a 25-17 win last Sunday. "They didn't do anything spectacular, they weren't double-teaming, they weren't doing anything ... they just lined up and kicked their ass. Bottom line. That is what they did. They stayed on them the whole game, not just Wes Welker
, everyone. They played great ball."
If Rolle has his way, the New York Giants (5-2) will do what the Steelers did against New England -- attack the Patriots' pass defense, keep the ball away from Brady and keep Wes Welker quiet.

Giants Player to Watch: DE Jason Paul-Pierre
The Giants will need to get pressure on Tom Brady. The most effective way to do this is with the down lineman as Brady is so effective at reading blitz.
This plays right into the Giants hands. Their defensive line is built to rush the passer, and Pierre has been doing just that. He has 8.5 sacks on the season.
Patriots Player to Watch: QB Tom Brady
Brady is always worth watching. He is a surgeon on the field. There is not another QB that can go through their progression like Brady.
Defenses are geared towards containing and confusing Brady, and they almost always fail.
Key Matchup: Patriots' offensive line vs. Giants' defensive line
As we mentioned above the Giants have to generate pressure on Brady from their down linemen. To do this, they are going to have to beat a very solid Patriots' offensive line.
The Patriots are fifth in the NFL in sacks allowed percentage.
The other part of this is that the Giants' defensive line needs to be strong against the run. This is not something they have been particularly good at.
They are 28th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game. When the Patriots get their run game going they are nearly unbeatable.
On the Hotseat: Bill Belichick
Belichick is not on the hot seat in terms of his job, but he is in danger of losing his mystique. Belichick has an amazing reputation as a game planner. However, he was out-coached last week, and his defense has been getting shredded all year.
If Belichick loses two straight games and gets outcoached again, he can say goodbye to his perch as the reigning guru of the NFL.
Prediction: Giants 31, Patriots 28
This game is going to be an upset. The Giants offensive strength matches up well with the Patriots' defensive weakness. The Giants' defensive line will be able to generated enough pressure on Brady to get a few key stops.
