NFL Predictions Week 7: Washington Redskins and More Underdog Locks
The Washington Redskins don't need an offense to defeat the Carolina Panthers this week. Their defense is going to annihilate Cam Newton and company.
The Redskins have one of the best defenses in the NFL. So far this season, they are giving up just 321 total yards per game, which ranks sixth in the NFL. Adding to that, they are only conceding 16 points per game.
Newton has been explosive for the Panthers this year, but they have really struggled in the run department. Their rushing attack is ranked 31st in the league, and is not going to have much success against the Burgundy and Gold.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Expect the Redskins to bring pressure, early and often, and force the Panthers QB into poor decisions. This game will be a victory earned by the Redskins defense and the three-headed monster at running back.
Neither of these teams have been very impressive this year, but the Dog Pound is coming off a loss to the Oakland Raiders, who were forced to play Kyle Boller for much of the game.
The Browns have dropped their last two games, and edged out the Miami Dolphins by just one point in their last victory.
Seattle's offense has been extremely inconsistent to this point in the season as they are averaging less than 300 total yards per game. However, they have been playing better as of late. They dropped a close game to Atlanta, while they edged out victories over the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.
With Peyton Hillis potentially missing this wekeend's game, it's likely going to be a long day for the Cleveland offense. Hillis is instrumental both on the ground and through the air. Without him in the game, this offense will be stagnant.
The Seahawks are going to cruise to victory.
Who cares who is quarterbacking the Broncos this week, they are going to destroy the Miami Dolphins.
Miami has been horrible to this point in the year. They don't have much to be excited about on either side of the ball, and are primed for another beatdown this week. Who knows, they might even throw the game to stay in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
Tebow has shown, both last year and this year, that he has a desire to succeed. He rallied the team back from a second-half deficit to take down the Houston Texans. He also kept the team competitive with the San Diego Chargers in the last game of the regular season.
He nearly rallied the team from behind again last week against the Chargers, but his last-second heave to the end zone came up just short.
The Dolphins won't know what to do about Tebow or the Broncos run game, which is much improved with Willis McGahee leading the charge.
This one won't end up as close as many people will expect. Tebow has finally arrived.
