Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire: Colt McCoy and QBs Worth Gambling On
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Eli Manning, Tom Brady and Michael Vick are on a bye week this week. If you've got one of these quarterbacks and your backup situation is less than stellar, there are a few guys likely lingering on the waiver wire who are worth gambling on.
These may not be the guys you want starting on a week-to-week basis, but they are more than capable of filling the void and racking you up some points in the process. Here are three quarterbacks worth gambling on this week if you are in a bind.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If you are unhappy with your quarterback situation, Colt McCoy can actually justify a starting QB position on your fantasy squad. He's taking on the Seahawks this week, who give up just over 268 YPG through the air.
McCoy has thrown for over 200 yards in every single game, hasn't thrown more interceptions than touchdowns in any given outing and though he's not lighting defenses up, he's consistent. McCoy isn't going to put up Tom Brady numbers, but you could do far worse with your starting QB situation.
Whoever Starts for Washington
Rex Grossman was dubbed fantasy starter by many people who were unhappy with their starting QB. Clearly we've seen "bad Rex" come out, and despite his great start, there is a quarterback controversy brewing.
If Grossman gets the start, he's going to be fighting to prove he should keep his job. If John Beck gets the start, he's going to try to justify the Redskins giving him an opportunity. The Redskins take on the Panthers, whichever quarterback enters the lineup is good for over 200 yards and a touchdown or two.
Charlie Whitehurst
The Seahawks' passing game has been pedestrian. With Charlie Whitehurst now looking like he's going to start, according to Roto World, we should see a huge increase in production this week. The Seahawks are squaring off against a Browns team that has been stingy against the pass, but one look at the pathetic quarterbacks they've faced shows why their secondary has fared so well.
This is probably the only week you should start Whitehurst, and you can certainly look to him if you need to. Whitehurst has always been seen as a guy who "has it all," but has had trouble securing the starting job. Expect the Seahawks to air it out and find out exactly what they have in one of the most intriguing backups in the league.
