Oba Femi, Liv Morgan and Superstars Guaranteed to Win at WWE WrestleMania 42
One of the biggest problems on the Road to WrestleMania 42, impacting the excitement levels for WWE's biggest event of the year, is the lack of storytelling surrounding the matches already announced.
Wrestling fans understand the business, but Triple H and the WWE creative team continue to book matches with obvious outcomes, which is contributing to the negative perception of this year's WrestleMania.
Here are the superstars guaranteed to win at WWE WrestleMania 42.

WrestleMania Night 2 Full Recap 📝
Oba Femi
WWE has failed miserably to build new Superstars in recent years, and the callups for NXT are often treated as afterthoughts. One man defying the odds and shining on the main roster has been Ob Femi, who set his sights on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
With Lesnar issuing an open challenge for WWE's biggest event of the year, speculation had run rampant that Femi would be the man to answer, but there were serious doubts that Triple H and company could follow through with the career-defining moment.
After an epic attack on Raw, Femi is guaranteed to win at WrestleMania.
While Lesnar has put over younger talent in the past, getting The Beast to sell for his opponents isn't always easy—just ask Jon Moxley—but Monday proved Femi has the backing of the WWE creative team.
The Beast will do the right thing and put over the company's next unstoppable force.
Liv Morgan
After winning the 2026 women's Royal Rumble, it has become abundantly clear that Liv Morgan will defeat Stephanie Vaquer for the Raw's Women's World Championship. While the move is correct, the outcome is obvious.
Vaquer has been solid as a champion, but the company has failed to get her meaningful feuds in recent months, cooling off most of her momentum. Morgan has also fallen into the background in the current Judgment Day storylines, so the heat for this title match isn't there.
Triple H's failure as the creative leader of WWE isn't a knock on Morgan, though, as she represents one of the most organically supported underdog success stories in recent years, and a win over Vaquer would feel both earned and emotionally satisfying.
Despite the lack of hype around Morgan's championship match right now, it may be some of WWE's best long-term storyline planning, a refreshing change from the burial of many faces who got over organically with the fans.
Randy Orton
Cody Rhodes is one of the most overrated performers on the WWE roster, and his recent success can't be disputed, but there is little doubt that Randy Orton walks out of Las Vegas with the Undisputed WWE Championship.
For many, betting against Rhodes seems like a bad bet, but Orton is not a typical opponent. He has reinvented himself over the last five years, becoming one of the company's most reliable big-match performers.
A victory at WrestleMania 42 would reinforce Orton's legacy as an all-time great, while also proving he can still hang in a new era filled with rising stars. Capturing a 15th championship would ensure hardcore and casual fans view him as one of the greatest ever to wrestle.
Orton's character work, in-ring psychology, and connection with the crowd make him the perfect opponent for Rhodes, who is starting to lose momentum with the crowd. If the plan is to eventually turn Orton into the American Nightmare, stealing the title and sending his challenger into a downward spiral is the perfect storyline.
Jade Cargill
One of WWE's biggest issues on the Road to WrestleMania 42 has been the thrown-together matchups between big names without actual substance behind the programs. Despite a lack of excitement, Jade Cargill will defeat Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's Championship.
Ripley is one of the most decorated female performers in WWE history, but Cargill is a rising star who needs a career-defining moment. By winning, she would become an unstoppable force and officially establish herself as the new dominant centerpiece of WWE's women's division.
Cargill has been presented as a once-in-a-generation athlete with unmatched presence, and a win over someone as credible and battle-tested as Ripley would instantly legitimize her at the highest level. It would also give WrestleMania a defining "arrival" moment, where a larger-than-life talent fully realizes her potential on the grandest stage.
