MLB Unveils 'Heaven on a Hot Dog' Concession Item in Photo for Phillies-Twins at Field of Dreams

On the eve of MLB's Field of Dreams game, a special Field of Dreams-themed concession item that will be sold during the event has been unveiled.

MLB posted an image of the "Heaven on a Hot Dog" that includes sweet corn relish, corn-bacon jam and crispy ranch onions to be sold during Thursday's game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins.

The "Heaven on a Hot Dog" joins other previously announced concession items that includes a Minnesota Juicy Lucy burger, wild rice bratwurst, Philly cheesesteak and a roast pork sandwich.

Thursday's matchup between the Phillies and Twins will be played at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. This will mark MLB's return to the cornfield stadium for the first time since the 2022 season.

The first game MLB game ever played at the field used for the 1989 film starring Kevin Costner was between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees in August 2021.

MLB returned to the stadium the following year for a game between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds.

The Phillies-Twins game will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday. Aaron Nola and Taj Bradley are the scheduled starting pitchers.
