Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar Set for Battleground Main Event
The main focus on WWE programming for the past several weeks has been the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins. They will finally settle their differences in the main event at Battleground, and the odds certainly aren't in the champ's favor after the Beast Incarnate took out J&J Security and Kane.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Leave Battleground as World Champion?
In a straight-up, one-on-one fight without any type of interference, Lesnar is essentially unbeatable in WWE. On the surface, it looks as though that is precisely the kind of match on tap for Battleground, but Rollins and the Authority always have a few tricks up their sleeves. That will likely be the case Sunday, but the biggest questions relate to whom will help the former architect of the Shield and whether their interference will result in Rollins retaining the title.
Since Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury and Kane are out of the equation, the next most logical person to interfere is Triple H. He was not featured on the go-home edition of Raw, which may have been a calculated move on WWE's part to get him out of the fans' minds. It is also possible WWE could go off the board by introducing a new member to the Authority or perhaps even bringing back someone from the Conquerer's past. Whatever the case, it is tough to envision Lesnar versus Rollins being a clean contest.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
There has been a ton of speculation regarding possible endings for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, with one rumor even suggesting that the Undertaker could make an appearance and cost Lesnar the bout. That may be a bit far-fetched, considering the fact Lesnar is playing the face role in his feud with Rollins and the Phenom would look like a heel by aiding the champion.
Something big needs to happen if the Beast is to be prevented from winning, though, and that would certainly qualify.
A more likely scenario would see Triple H interfere but botch his attempt to aid Rollins. Lesnar would then win the title, and issues would start to crop up between Triple H and Rollins, which would eventually lead to the dissolution of their union. The threat of Sheamus cashing in his Money in the Bank contract is present as well, but he doesn't seem well positioned to win the title quite yet.
In an effort to set the stage for a big rematch at SummerSlam, look for Lesnar to leave Battleground with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in tow.

John Cena vs. Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt Highlight Undercard
All eyes are on Lesnar and Rollins as Battleground approaches, but there are a couple of other matches that have the WWE Universe intrigued as well. One of them is the United States Championship clash between John Cena and Kevin Owens, while the other is the grudge match pitting Roman Reigns against Bray Wyatt. If one or both of those deliver, then Battleground has the makings of an excellent pay-per-view.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Win Battleground's Top Supporting Matches?
Cena and Owens have been at odds since Elimination Chamber, and they have already put on two fantastic matches against each other. The dynamic is different this time, though, since Cena's U.S. title will be on the line. KO has become obsessed with being the Superstar who takes the championship away from the leader of the Cenation, and if he is able to replicate the performance he put on at Elimination Chamber, then the title will be his.
There is no gold up for grabs in the meeting between Reigns and Wyatt. It is a far more personal feud, as the Eater of Worlds has done everything possible to gain a mental edge over the Big Dog in recent weeks. The former Shield powerhouse gained some measure of revenge on Raw by finally taking the fight to Wyatt, but he won't truly get back at Wyatt for his misdeeds until he defeats him in a match.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
While the match between Cena and Owens could have a decisive finish in order to set the stage for both men to move onto other feuds, their rivalry is one that should be settled at a big event such as SummerSlam.
Based on the fact the former NXT champion has stopped the likes of Cesaro and Rusev from beating Cena in recent weeks, don't be surprised if one or both of those Superstars who came close to defeating Cena interfere to set up at Triple Threat or Fatal 4-Way at SummerSlam, which is where Owens would finally win the strap.
As for Reigns and Wyatt, both guys could use a victory, but only one will be lucky enough to get it. The Juggernaut has been better positioned on the card than the New Face of Fear in recent months, but this bout seems tailor-made for a Wyatt victory. The manner in which it happens will shock many, though, as Dean Ambrose will turn on his longtime friend because of the neglect and lack of focus he has shown in their matches together over the past several weeks.

RRR Interview with 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan
WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan may be 61 years of age, but the Legends' House star is still making waves in the professional wrestling business. He recently signed on as an ambassador for the up-and-coming Global Force Wrestling promotion, and he sat down with Ring Rust Radio to discuss his hopes and expectations for Jeff Jarrett's company.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What's Next for GFW?
As someone who has been heavily involved with wrestling across five different decades, few have a better feel for the business than Duggan. He made himself into a star in WWE, WCW and other territories thanks to his over-the-top characters, and he believes GFW will bring that old-school brand of entertainment back to the forefront:
"I think that will be something different and people are hungry for a PG type of program. Everybody is tired of pushing the envelope, the graphic violence. I think people want a traditional-style show. The type of show my generation of guys did: myself, Jake the Snake [Roberts], Junkyard Dog, Macho Man [Randy] Savage. People are hungry for that again, and GFW is going to give them that.
"
Duggan's opinion seemingly differs a bit from most hardcore wrestling fans, since many are critical of WWE's PG product. Not everyone who watches wrestling is a diehard follower, though, and if GFW can appeal to casual fans, then it is likely the regulars will eventually follow.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
Hacksaw further elaborated upon why he believes GFW can have success as a PG show, and he also offered an explanation of what he'll be doing with the company in order to help ensure its progress:
"I think GFW is going to do that as a family-friendly organization: no obscene gestures, no profanity—the kind of show wrestling used to be, one that you can bring kids to and have a good time.
My role is flexible at this time, but I am sure they will have me do all sorts of things. I'm excited to hook up with Jeff and be part of GFW.
"
It doesn't seem as though Duggan will be a regular wrestler, since Global Force Wrestling is focusing more on rising stars, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the 1988 Royal Rumble winner step into the ring on occasion as he has proven capable of still being able to mix it up from time to time.
Even if Hacksaw never has any physical involvement in GFW, though, he is an asset because of his name recognition and ability to present the company in a positive light.
