WWE Raw Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from July 13

Erik BeastonJul 14, 2015

Women's wrestling received a giant injection of adrenaline Monday night when Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Charlotte made their long-awaited main roster debuts at the same time.

It was a moment that couldand shouldbring about a new era for the Divas division in WWE. Those three women have spent the last two years developing their characters and in-ring performances to the point that they were given not only headline spots but also opportunities to prove they could deliver matches that rivaled their male counterparts.

Their debuts were the culmination of their hard work, making them the biggest winners of the night.

What the future holds for them remains to be seen. Will they have the opportunity to continue growing, or will they realize the harsh reality that faces all women on the main roster?

While no one else had quite the fantastic night the NXT ladies did, there were some other notable winners and, on the opposite end of the spectrum, losers. Who were they? Why did they fall into whichever category they did?

Take a look at the biggest winners and losers from Raw.

Winner: Cesaro

The Swiss Superman continued to make waves Monday night, working a grueling 24-minute match with Rusev and Kevin Owens for the right to challenge John Cena for the United States Championship immediately afterward.

He lost, naturally, because we would not want to push him too hard or let him get too over, would we?

Still, the master of the Cesaro Swing turned in another phenomenal performance that further established him as one of the hottest performers in the company right now.

Of course, WWE has done this before with the former Ring of Honor standout. It has pushed him, allowed him to showcase his abilities in lengthy television matches, dropped him back down the card and then left him to wallow away on Main Event or Superstars without any real direction.

It remains to be seen if that same scenario plays out for the international star, but for now, he can rest peacefully knowing that he has been among the biggest winners of the night for three straight weeks thanks to his unwavering determination to be the best between the ropes.

Losers: The New Day

What else can be said about Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston that has not already been said?

Just a month ago, they were one of the hottest acts in the company and reigning tag team champions, and they were working alongside Randy Orton and Roman Reigns in high-profile Raw matches.

Since dropping the titles, they have jobbed to any and all wrestlers put in front of them, including a three-on-one decimation at the hands of Brock Lesnar in Tokyo.

Another loss in six-man tag team competition Monday night, which saw Woods pinned by Mark Henry, furthered their descent.

It was a particularly tough loss when one considers the fact that it came at the hands of a guy who lost in just over a minute to Big Show a few weeks back and has been on a losing streak a mile long as of late.

Hopefully, the trio will get back on track Sunday at Battleground, regaining the tag titles and some of the heat they have lost over the last month. Otherwise, WWE Creative may have ruined one of the few acts to get over organically in 2015.

Winner: Roman Reigns

The juggernaut of WWE finally showed the anger and rage that have been missing from his program with Bray Wyatt when he attacked the Reaper of Souls during his ring entrance Monday night.

That he used Wyatt's mind games against himshadowing him to the ring in the darkness before unleashing hell and beating him around the ringside area and into the squared circleonly enhanced the overall quality of the segment and increased anticipation for their match at this weekend's pay-per-view extravaganza.

Reigns is one of the more intense performers on the roster, but he is rarely asked to play angry. He was Monday, and he pulled it off to perfection. It would be a welcome sight for him to do it more often.

Loser: King Barrett and Dean Ambrose

These two have become such regular fixtures as losers that it makes sense to pair them up.

Barrett should have parlayed his King of the Ring victory into a much-deserved push toward the top of the card. After all, the gimmick did wonders for the likes of Owen Hart, Steve Austin and Booker T over the course of its history, and the same should have been true for Barrett.

Instead, he continues to job to the useless R-Truth, who may be entertaining but has no long-term prospects in the company. It's a complete waste of Barrett and any potential he has to one day be more than a faceless midcard talent.

As for Ambrose, the most popular star on the roster, he spent Monday standing around doing nothing as Reigns pummeled Wyatt. That's rightthe former No. 1 contender and the most over act in the company has lost cleanly to Wyatt, was stuck working Bo Dallas two shows in a row and has been left hanging by WWE Creative in the weeks leading into Battleground.

It is inexcusable and a prime example of the company's apparent inability to make legitimate new stars.
