R-Truth Denies Rumors His Release Was a Work After WWE Return, Triple H's Comments
R-Truth denied his shocking return at Money in the Bank on Saturday night, a week after he announced he had been released from WWE, was all one big swerve.
Responding to a fan on X who said the WWE Universe "all got worked," R-Truth succinctly said, "No work."
The two-time United States champion leapt over the ringside barricade and attacked John Cena during the main event at Money in the Bank. After he helped to level the playing field a bit, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso came out on top against Cena and Logan Paul.

Ranking The New Day's Best WWE Moments
WWE chief content officer Triple H remained coy when asked whether the outpouring of sentiment toward R-Truth basically led the company to do a 180. He said it's "all part of the show."
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported Truth had reached out to independent promotions in recent days.
"The decision to bring him back happened over the last 72 hours," Johnson said.
R-Truth's son, Christopher, reposted Triple H's remarks in the press conference and gave the impression the WWE executive wasn't being entirely forthright:
Ultimately, it doesn't matter whether this was all designed step-by-step or something that unfolded organically.
Fans and colleagues alike reacted genuinely to R-Truth's release. The 53-year-old may not be one of the biggest stars in the company, but he has consistently delivered and elevated whatever segment he's in.
The anger and frustration over his release heightened the emotions when he showed up again. That pop from the Intuit Dome crowd speaks for itself.
It's anybody's guess as to how WWE will capitalize on this momentum.
Johnson reported Truth will be acknowledged by his real name, Ron Killings, moving forward. Perhaps this is an opportunity for him to be more than a comedy character again and challenge for some gold.
