WWE's Blake Monroe Reveals She Needs Surgery After Getting Hit by Giulia's Knee in New Video

WWE Superstar Blake Monroe will have to go under the knife soon, but it sounds like she won't be out of action for too long.

Monroe announced in a TikTok video that she suffered a mouth injury that requires surgery after her rival, Giulia, delivered a vicious knee to her face in a brutal attack. She added that she expects a quick recovery timeline.

"I have to get surgery on my mouth because Giulia kneed me in the face," Monroe said (h/t H. Jenkins of Ringside News). "So I have to get that on, I think, Tuesday. So I have to take a couple of days to recover."

Monroe was giving a backstage interview during the Sept. 4 episode of SmackDown when Giulia attacked her from behind, inciting a brawl that carried them to the stage before Giulia nailed Monroe with her Arrivederci finisher. Monroe later posted photos showing a large wrap around her jaw and other injuries.

WWE later released a video that showed Monroe handing her teeth to SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis.

It's clear that Monroe's rivalry with Giulia is still heating up, and they will settle their differences in the ring once she's recovered from her upcoming procedure.
