For the first time, WWE and AAA presented a two-night Triplemanía card on Friday night from the historic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

A high-stakes match-up between AAA general manager Rey Mysterio and resident giant, Omos, headlined the first night of action, in which all but one match had implications on the second night of action, this Sunday night in Mexico City.
