Rhea Ripley, LA Knight and Most Likely Heel, Face Turns at WWE Money in the Bank 2025
Few shows change more for WWE during the summer than Money in the Bank. This is an event where future world champions are teased in some of the most unpredictable matches of the year.
The big focus of the event is the men's and women's ladder matches where two competitors will earn a championship opportunity at any time.
The women's match will see Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Roxanne Perez, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer fight for a future shot at current champions Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton.
The men's contest will focus on Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Penta, Andrade and El Grande Americano all hoping for an opportunity to dethrone John Cena or Jey Uso.
The show will also feature Cena and Logan Paul facing Uso and Cody Rhodes as well as Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
These matches could all play a key role in building toward WWE's biggest shows in the coming months.
The following are the most likely heel and face turns to come at Saturday's premium live event that could change the course of WWE's summer.
Face: Jacob Fatu

The eventual collision of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu is rapidly approaching, and it has become clearer by the month that WWE is ready to push the latter as much as possible.
At times, it looked more likely Sikoa would turn face to rejoin his brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso, but the arrival of JC Mateo to back up the former Tribal Chief has made that unlikely for a while.
This is for the best as the WWE Universe is fully behind United States champion Fatu due to his wild athletic style and cool demeanor.
He has the credibility to stand on his own against Sikoa, Mateo and the eventual returning Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
He is not currently booked for Money in the Bank, but Sikoa is in the men's ladder match.
It is conceivable Fatu could be put in a bad position trying to help Sikoa. With so much on the line, the former Bloodline leader would likely turn against The Samoan Werewolf for costing him victory.
Heel: LA Knight

Where is LA Knight going next? He lost the United States Championship to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41 and fell short in his Fatal 4-Way rematch at Backlash.
While Fatu moves on to the next stage of his story with Solo Sikoa, The Megastar needs to find his next goal.
It could be the men's Money in the Bank contract. Outside of Seth Rollins, Knight is the most likely to win the briefcase.
Few competitors have cashed in their MITB title shot in a babyface manner over the years, and Knight is likely to take whatever chance he can get to finally hold a world title.
The 42-year-old would certainly get major heat if he cashed in on Cody Rhodes after The American Nightmare wins the Undisputed WWE Championship back from John Cena.
It would also be a heartbreaking moment for those rooting for Jey Uso to see The Megastar end his world title reign in unceremonious fashion.
If Knight does win the briefcase, it will set the stage for a dramatic evolution that could lead him all the way to the top.
Heel: Rhea Ripley
3 of 5
Rhea Ripley has played her role in WWE to perfection over recent years, balancing between heel and face in equal measure while remaining consistent with her character work.
Nothing has to change with Mami for her to go heel again, likely by using the Money in the Bank briefcase to ruin Iyo Sky's Women's World Championship reign.
Ripley has always been an opportunist. The only difference is who she takes advantage of.
Even on the road to WrestleMania 41, fans cheered the Australian despite also loving the champion she was attempting to dethrone, Sky.
However, a Money in the Bank cash-in on The Genius of the Sky would be too much even for Ripley's most ardent supporters.
While the 28-year-old is only a three-time world champion, she has had more featured time than Sky. Fans want to see the current champion thrive for a while longer.
Ripley can turn heel and build the next chapter of her story with Sky that has been a key part of WWE dating back to their days in NXT in 2020.
Heel: Alexa Bliss
4 of 5
Alexa Bliss may be the most popular star in WWE today without a clearly defined role. Her motivation is shrouded in mystery beyond vague teases of a link with The Wyatt Sicks.
That is going to change soon, but will it lead to The Goddess playing the face or heel?
All roads are available, especially as Bliss has threatened to go after Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair in recent weeks.
While the 33-year-old isn't likely to win the women's Money in the Bank contract, her role in Saturday's contest has a chance to solidify her goals.
Does she seek the briefcase to cheat her way to gold as she did in 2018? Will she respect anyone who gets in her way of returning to the top?
Much is unclear for Bliss, but Money in the Bank will be an important moment in her career.
Heel: Sami Zayn
5 of 5
The hero's journey is a long and arduous road that can break even the greatest who undertake it, and Sami Zayn's path to the world championship likely has many twists left before its ending.
Between contesting Seth Rollins and constantly listening to Karrion Kross' questions about his morality, The Underdog from the Underground is under significant scrutiny.
While Zayn does not have an official match at Money in the Bank, he has made clear he will do anything to stop Rollins from winning the men's briefcase.
However, when push comes to shove, can Zayn be trusted to do the right thing? The Visionary has offered to work with him already, and the alternative of aligning with CM Punk has not led to success for The Ultimate Underdog.
It would so much easier to help Rollins or at least stay out of his way, especially when Zayn wants the title his friend, Jey Uso, carries.
Nothing is certain yet with Zayn, but there is a real possibility the 40-year-old could choose the easier path over the righteous one sooner than later.
